Foundations
The whole reformer, slowly, with the reasoning explained. Six weeks and you will never need this class again.
Pilates & movement · Ancoats
Twelve reformers, small classes, and teachers who correct your form instead of counting reps at you. Beginners are genuinely welcome — most of the room started that way.
First class £12 · No membership required to try
Small enough that a teacher can reach every reformer twice in an hour, which is the point of paying for a class at all.
Your first session is an assessment. We write down where you started so that six weeks later it is not a matter of opinion.
Two of our teachers came through physiotherapy. Tell us about the shoulder and the class works around it.
Classes
Every class is mixed-ability unless it says otherwise. If you are not sure where to begin, begin with Foundations.
The whole reformer, slowly, with the reasoning explained. Six weeks and you will never need this class again.
Continuous, musical, and hard on the legs. Our busiest class and the one people book a week ahead.
No machine. Bodyweight, bands and light dumbbells, built around the same principles as the reformer work.
Long holds and breath work, Sunday evenings. The counterweight to everything else on this timetable.

Who is teaching
Fifteen years teaching, eleven of them here. Trained in classical Pilates and still argues about it.
Came to Pilates through a rugby knee and a long rehab. Teaches strength work for people who want to keep their sport.
Physiotherapist before she was a teacher. Runs the pre- and postnatal sessions and the Sunday yoga.
The studio
Two rooms off Redhill Street: twelve reformers in the main arch, a quieter studio at the back for mat and yoga. Showers, lockers, and somewhere to leave a bike indoors.
Foundations. It is built for exactly this and nobody in the room will have been doing it long. Six weeks in, you will be booking Reformer Flow without thinking about it.
Tell us when you book and again when you arrive. Two of our teachers have clinical backgrounds and every exercise has a version that works around a joint. We will not ask you to push through pain.
Grip socks, which we also sell at reception for £8, and water. Everything else is here, including towels.
Cancel free up to 12 hours before and the class returns to your pack. Inside 12 hours it is used, because someone on the waitlist could have taken it.
First class is £12, any class on the timetable, no membership needed and no follow-up sales call.
