Bikes that fit you, and a workshop that keeps them running.

A proper bike shop on Ordley Road. We sell what we ride, we service anything on two wheels regardless of where you bought it, and we will happily spend twenty minutes talking you out of a more expensive bike.

Free first service on every bike we sell · Repairs from £18

Any bike, any brand.
We service what you already own, wherever it came from.

Same-week workshop slots.
Usually next day for a puncture or a gear index.

Prices on the wall.
And on this page. No quote needed for standard work.

Free first service.
On every bike we sell, at six weeks.

Fitting

A bike that hurts
is the wrong size

Most people who tell us they do not enjoy cycling are riding a bike set up for somebody else. It is nearly always fixable and it nearly always takes half an hour.

Included free with every bike we sell. £45 on a bike you already own, refunded if you buy from us within a month.

  1. Tell us what hurts

Hands, neck, knees or backside. Each one points somewhere different, and the answer is rarely a new bike.

  2. On the jig, not guesswork

Saddle height and setback, bar reach and drop, cleat position if you use them. Measured and written down.

  3. Ride it, then adjust again

Come back after a fortnight and we will fine-tune it. That second session is where most of the comfort actually comes from.

Ask us something

We answer in shop hours. For anything urgent, ring — we are usually holding a spanner.

Before you come in

Straight answers

Will you work on a bike you did not sell?

Yes, and about two thirds of the workshop is exactly that. Supermarket bikes included — we will tell you honestly if a repair costs more than the bike is worth, and we would rather say so than take the money.

Do you sell online?

No, deliberately. A bike that has not been set up for the person riding it is half a bike, and boxing one up to post undoes the part we are actually good at. Reserve by phone and collect.

Can I trade in my old bike?

Usually. Bring it in and we will look at it while you wait. Children's bikes bought here come back at half price, no haggling and no receipt needed — we recognise our own bikes.

How long will my bike be with you?

A puncture or a gear index is same day. A full service is two to three days depending on the week, and we will tell you the truth when you book rather than the answer you want.

Do you do finance?

On bikes over £500, and through the cycle-to-work schemes most local employers use. Ask and we will check whether yours is one of them before you commit to anything.
