Six rooms above the bay · Serra da Aldeia

An old house, kept quiet.

A restored quinta with six rooms, a long table under the fig tree, and nothing much to do. Booked directly, which is how it stays affordable for both of us.

Check availability

Booking here costs you less than the listing sites, and the difference stays in the valley. Best rate guaranteed, free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.

The house

Built in 1878.
Rescued in 2019.

It was a working quinta for a century and then empty for thirty years. We kept the stone, the chestnut beams and the awkward staircase, and quietly replaced everything that was going to leak.

Six rooms, never more than twelve guests. Breakfast is at one long table because we like it that way, and dinner happens on Thursdays and Saturdays if enough people want it.
